The keys on this keyboard are one inch square, four times larger than standard keys, and are available in color in the standard QWERTY layout or an easy to use ABC format for children. For adults and the visually impaired the keys are available in white with black lettering.

Big Keys Plus for the PC is for DOS, Win 3.1 and higher, NT and is compatible with 386, 486, and Pentium computers. No special software is required.

Big Keys Plus for the Mac is available with a USB adapter.

Summary of Features:

  • Shift Key-gives access to upper/lowercase alphabet and punctuation keys.
  • Punctuation Keys-Essential characters for word processing, spread sheet and Internet access are included:

  • F1-F10 Keys-Press and hold the "F" key and the numeric keys become F1-F10.

This PS2-to-USB single port adapter is custom designed specifically to convert a BigKeys keyboard to a USB port. The adapter accommodates the special BigKeys "no run-on" feature, which is defeated by use of a generic USB adapter.

For Windows 98 (& newer) operating systems. Also for iMac or other USB-enabled Mac computers.

If you are ordering this adapter for an older BigKeys keyboard that you already own: This adapter is only for use with BigKeys manufactured in 2004 or later.

Check that your BigKeys was manufactured in 2004 or later: The last 2 digits of the Serial Number on the back of your keyboard indicate the year it was manufactured. For example,
SN xx04 = manufactured in 2004
SN xx99 = manufactured in 1999

Note: this adapter will work with any BigKeys keyboard, regardless of manufacture date, but does not accommodate the BigKeys special "no run-on" feature. That is, when this adapter is in use with a BigKeys keyboard, when a key is pressed and held down, multiple characters may be generated.
